Science Lecture Series

Triton College’s Science Lecture Series will host an enlightening lecture, Pathways in Science: Career Journeys and Research at Fermilab, on Thursday, April 30, from 1-2 p.m. in Room D-308 (D Building). The lecture will be presented by Travante Thompson, Engineering Physicist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab).

Thompson will share his educational journey and career path, highlighting how he became an engineering physicist and the experiences that shaped his success. He will also provide insight into his work at Fermilab, including his contributions to advanced accelerator science and particle physics research.

This talk is a great opportunity for students from all majors to explore career paths, gain real-world perspective and learn how curiosity and determination can lead to exciting opportunities in science and beyond.
