Latin American Music Ensemble

Triton College’s Music Department is excited to present the Latin American Music Ensemble (MUS-253-002), a course for those interested in performing and exploring the vibrant sounds of Latin America. The ensemble will meet Wednesdays from 3-4:40 p.m., beginning Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the Room J-205 (J Building). This class is open to all instruments and experience levels. Students should bring their own instruments; however, percussion instruments will be available for use on campus. The semester will culminate in a special live concert performance!      

“Participating in an ensemble is a wonderful way to make friends and build relationships with people who have a common interest,” said Salvatore Siriano, Triton’s lead music instructor and band director. “Those interested have the opportunity to participate in rewarding concerts and perform music from a variety of styles and cultures.”
