How to Power a City
Ready to be inspired, entertained and help save the planet? In a special collaboration with One Earth Film Festival, Triton College will screen How to Power a City, a documentary sharing stories of renewable energy implantation, on Friday, April 24 in the Student Center Cafeteria (B Building). Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the film begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are FREE, with a suggested $8 donation to One Earth Film Festival. A pre-film tabling discussion featuring local sustainability and energy-focused organizations will take place before the screening, with refreshments available from 5:30 p.m.-6 p.m. The evening will conclude with a post-film discussion until 8 p.m. Students can purchase tickets for the event.
One Earth Film Festival is the Midwest’s premier environmental film festival, creating opportunities for understanding climate change. There are a variety of in-person and virtual screenings taking place across the Chicagoland area.
