Transfer Center Events

The Transfer Center will host several events in September and October to support students planning to transfer to a four-year university. Whether they’re planning to transfer to an out-of-state college or stay closer to home, these events will guide them through every step of the way. To register, click here.      

• The Transfer Center Kickoff will be on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2-5 p.m., in the Transfer Center, Room B-110 (B Building). Students can tour the center, learn about upcoming Transfer Center events, play games to win prizes and collect university/college swag!
• Learn how to make college more affordable at How to Pay for College – Meet, Greet and Eat on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Transfer Center, Room B-110 (B Building). Enjoy treats while you’re here!
• Meet representatives from more than 35 colleges at the Fall Transfer Fair, Monday, Sept. 29, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Student Center Cafeteria (B Building). Students are invited to discuss their university-transfer options, future academic plans and majors and transfer scholarships for Triton students.
• Gain insight about University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)’s Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program at the UIC Transfer TAG event on Wednesday, Oct. 22, noon-1 p.m., in Room B-204/210 (B Building). The event will feature a presentation about the TAG program, lunch, and how to complete the TAG form. All students are welcome to attend, however, they must have completed at least one semester at Triton before submitting a TAG form.
• Gather information from a variety of UIC departments at UIC Transfer Day on Thursday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Student Center Cafeteria (B Building).
