Science Lecture Series

Triton College’s Science Lecture Series will host an enlightening lecture, Anemia: Health Discussion on Causes, Treatments and New Research, on Thursday, Oct. 30, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Room D-308 (D Building). The lecture will be presented by Dr. Moujtaba Zahweh from University of Illinois-Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology.        

This informative and accessible lecture will explore the science behind anemia – the most common blood disorder worldwide. Dr. Zahweh will discuss its causes, diagnostic methods, while also highlighting new research on blood health and iron metabolism.

This event aims to inspire curiosity and promote a deeper understanding of medical science among students and the community.
