Direct Deposit for Financial Aid Refunds
Starting in Spring 2025, all financial aid refunds will be processed via direct deposit. A refund results when the total amount of financial aid applied to a student account (such as grants, loans, scholarships, etc.) is more than the total tuition charges for the semester.
To Sign Up For Direct Deposit:
- Visit Self-Service to set up your direct deposit account and click here to view step by step instructions.
- Please ensure your banking information is accurate and up-to-date if you’ve set up direct deposit in the past.
Why Direct Deposit?
Direct deposit offers several benefits, including:
- Faster Processing: Your refund will be deposited directly into your bank account, eliminating the need for paper checks and potential mailing delays.
- Enhanced Security: Direct deposit reduces the risk of lost or stolen checks.
- Increased Convenience: Your refund will be available to you immediately, without the need to visit a bank or wait for a check to arrive.
Set Up Your Account Before the Term Starts!
We recommend setting up your direct deposit account before the Spring 2025 semester starts to avoid any delays in processing your refund.
