“Triton offered me many prospects during my time here,” she said.

As she prepares to graduate in May, Calderon feels Triton’s Transfer Center has provided valuable insight into her prospective universities, including the University of Illinois Chicago and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She appreciates how the Transfer Center simplified the process of choosing the right school.

“The Transfer Center guided me every step of the way,” she explained. “They investigated my scholarships and universities that offered my major. They assisted me with Financial Aid.”

Calderon is especially grateful for the guidance she received from Patricia and Ian at the Transfer Center, noting that their guidance made transferring credits seamless. She found Transferology, a nationwide transfer network from CollegeSource, particularly helpful in exploring her transfer options.

“Pat and Ian made themselves very available to me,” she said. “They’re there for you.”

During her time at Triton, Calderon achieved numerous accomplishments, including being a member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), making the President’s List and receiving the Trustee Honors Scholarship. She is grateful to Triton for offering her so many avenues to succeed.

Looking ahead, Calderon wants to pursue a career in graphic design. With the tools she received from Triton, she feels that the sky’s the limit.
